Varisu is a Tamil series that started airing on Zee Tamil on 30^th June 2025. It aired from Monday to Saturday at 1:30 pm.

After losing her husband, Janakambal find it hard to run her life with her two kids. Without losing her hope, she started a home-based cooking business. After successful returns, she started a small eatery, which developed into a big business, making her one of the leading businesspeople in the city. Although she is wealthy, she still has a habit of selling food on the streets. She is humble and simple even after acquiring name and fame. But, her family doesn’t understand the value of hard-earned money, and spends lavishly. Cibi is the grandson of Janakambal. He is in London, enjoying his life with his friends. Janakambal wants to see Cibi, who hadn’t visited her in the past decade. In Karaikudi, Tamizharasi lives with her family of five. She is the elder one of the three daughters, and is very much attached to her father. Her marriage is fixed to her relative, but she doesn’t want to leave her father and go to her husband’s house. However, her marriage stops due to creditors, and her father disappears. As they have no place to move, she moves with her family to Chennai. Meanwhile, Janakambal becomes sick, and Cibi is forced to return to India. In a turn of events, Janakambal fixes Cibi’s marriage with Tamizharasi. Cibi thinks that Tamizharasi impressed Janakambal for her money. What happens next? Will he understand Tamizharasi and lead a happy married life?
