Plot

Following the assassination of the former PM Rajiv Gandhi, a team of CBI officers are involved in the investigation. IGP Karthikeyan takes the lead in solving the case in 90 days.

Star Performance

Amit Sial is excellent in his role. He is so natural, and his measured usage of Tamil is appreciable. Sahil Vaid fits well in the role of Amitverma. Analysis

The storytelling doesn’t exaggerate, and it maintains the right tone. The makers should be appreciated for not inserting anything overdramatic or patriotic to impress the audience. Each incident is portrayed in a measured level, and the scenes speak for themselves, rather than spoon-feeding it. The dialogues are natural and don’t have any cinematic tones. The tensions built, and the emotions of the investigation officers at that time are showcased well. Although it is a non-linear pattern, the makers didn’t lose the connection. It is to be appreciated for not using so many instruments in the BGM. Instead, the music composer has made an occasional silence, and a pause on the BGM to make the dialogue audible. Each episode delivers the purpose of the script without derailing from the tone. The forensic details and DNA analysis are also showcased with right focus. The visuals are neat and simple as required for the story. Every character is designed well, and every actor is handpicked, and they did justice to their given roles.
