Susraal Mera is a Pakistani family drama TV serial that aired on HUM TV. The story of the serial is based on the life of two sisters, Alina and Alizeh. Alizeh is a strict girl who is serious and ambitious in life, whereas Alina is a carefree and fun-loving girl. At a family function, Alizeh’s family meets Jabbar Ahmed’s family. Jabbar Ahmed is a conservative man who thinks he has a right to be violent toward females. He is a misogynist in nature. Jabbar’s son Adil falls in love with Alizeh at first sight and wants to marry her. They take his proposal to Alizeh’s father, Bashir Ahmed, and pretend to be a liberal and well-educated family. Alizeh is tricked into marrying Adil thinking that she is going to a well-off and free-minded family. Soon she finds out that all of this was just a façade to hide their dirty mentality toward the women in society.
