The plot of "Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai" centers around Moazzam and Shazam's troubled marriage. Despite sharing a home, they behave as strangers to one another. They keep their marriage going solely because of their two daughters, Seerat and Baseerat. However, their relationship worsens when another girl named Seemab enters the picture.

Shazam and Moazzam decide to part ways since Moazzam feels his marriage has been put at risk. Shazam is devastated by this choice because her family is her top priority.
