Jazeera narrates the story of a happy middle-class family. The children comprising three girls and a boy, have to prove themselves against society and class to be accepted as eligible according to standards. The oldest daughter, Sadia, is intelligent but she is non-fashionable and straightforward. Her mother constantly nags her about being an old soul. They have difficulty finding a groom for her. After the sudden death of her father, Sadia is left with the responsibility of the household. The people in the house constantly malign her and consider her a below-par human and just a source of income.

Sadia has to continually make her way through insults and burn down her self-esteem in the name of attaining peace and love from her family. She gets both of her sisters married and looks after her ailing mother. But the only reception she gets back in return is disrespect and hate thrown at her. Hasan, the owner of the company Sadia, works for, persistently pursues her for marriage. But she refuses because she feels she isn’t eligible for love, nor for being proposed to. But as fate decides, Sadia rides a lot of emotional roller coasters to finally agrees to her suitable match with Hasan and have a happy end. Faiza Hasan is brilliant as Sadia. The serial has been well received for the characters that shadow everyday lives and people.
