Manam is a family game show where two families, each consisting of around 25-40 people is invited to play. The show starts with one person from each family introducing the others. Then proceeds to performances of their talents. Then, four members from each family are called onto a station on the opposite sides of the set. The show has four rounds. Players can change according to their will after every round. The game show then begins with the first round called “Mudu Mullu”. Out of the four players, one from each side are called onto the host’s station. Each of them is posed with a separate set of questions, and for each question, they need to give three possible answers. The countdown is given in the form of money decreasing constantly. It starts with Rs. 6000 and stops as soon as they answer the question.

The second round is called “Yevandoi Aadandoi”. The countdown starts with Rs. 50000. This round involves physical games, which keep varying for every episode. The third round is called “Super Five”. In this round, two players from each side will participate. One of them will spin a wheel, which consists of numbers from 2 to 5. Whichever number comes is the number of possible answers the other participant needs to give for the question asked. Three questions are asked, and the wheel is spun before each question. In this round, the money goes only to one family. If there is a tie, the wheel is spun by each family once, and whosever number is the least wins.

The fourth and final round is called “What Amma What is This Bomma”, in which all four participants from each side need to play. A few boxes with a part of a picture puzzle are given, and the four participants need to arrange them according to the picture displayed on the screen. At the end of the game show, whoever won the maximum amount of money wins.
