Hanuman Chalisa is aired on Bhakthi TV at 6:30 am and again at 5:30 pm every Tuesday and Saturday. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Hanuman is one of the many incarnations of Lord Shiva. He is a Hindu god and a divine Vanara, who is worshipped in many temples all over the globe. He played a great role in Ramayana and is an ardent devotee of Lord Rama. Hanuman Chalisa is a devotional hymn, which contains 40 verses and was written by Tulsidas, a Hindu poet-saint, reformer and philosopher who is well known for his devotion to Lord Rama. It is common for people to recite Hanuman Chalisa whenever they are scared, harbouring the belief that Lord Hanuman will provide them with strength. It is said that reciting Hanuman Chalisa has various benefits like; warding off spirits, reducing the effects of Sade Sati, forgiving their sins, removing obstacles and increasing the positive energy.
