Suryakantham is a Telugu soap drama serial that is aired on Zee Telugu at 10 pm from Monday to Saturday. It was broadcasted in the year 2019 and had a total of 201 episodes. Suryakantham is a remake of Tamil serial Sathya, and it was launched in March 2019. Moreover, Sathya was also a remake from the Odiya serial Sindhura Bindhu. The story revolves around a girl named Surya, who seems to be brave and possesses a tomboy look and character. She loses her father at a young age, and this gave her the courage to tackle any situation and lead her family. She lives with her mother, grandmother, and her elder sister. Her sister always despises Surya, and they both are always not being in good terms. Later, she meets Chaitanya, and they both become best friends. Chaitanya is a rich man; he likes Surya because of her humorous character and loves to hang out with her. Eventually, Surya falls for Chaitanya and she confesses her feelings for him. He doesn’t want to detriment her, by confronting that he sees her only as a friend. He consistently makes countless efforts to reveal the truth that he is already engaged to someone. But there always been some obstacles when he wants to tell her the truth. Unfortunately, Chaitanya’s marriage date is also approaching, and he urges himself to confess about his marriage to Surya. Surya was furthermore heartbroken to find out that he was about to marry her sister, but Chaitanya is still unaware that his fiancee is Surya's sister.

Meanwhile, Surya's sister wants to marry Chaitanya because he is rich. She is deceitful to him by being in a relationship with another guy and chose to dump her affair before the day of her wedding with Chaitanya. Both Chaitanya and Surya don’t know about her sister's evil doings, and she elopes at her marriage as her ex-boyfriend threatens her. Later, Chaitanya comes to know that Surya is her sister, and the elders have planned to convince Surya to marry Chaitanya. Initially, both of them refuse to marry each other, but to save their family dignity and reputation; they decide to marry each other. The rest of the story depicts whether they lose one’s heart for each other.

The cast members of this serial are Anusha Hedge (Surya), Prajwaj (Chaitanya), Mounika, and Mumtaz. Anusha Hedge plays the lead role, and she also received appreciation from the viewers for her performance in this serial.
