In the show, Sundari (Triveni Yadhav), is a dark-complexioned girl who is also utterly poor. She is criticized repeatedly for her complexion as if it were in her hands to make herself fairer. Despite all of these negative comments, Sundari has huge dreams and wishes to achieve them. Through great perseverance and hard work, she became an IAS officer.
The show aims to provide motivation and power not only to the underprivileged but to all those who are repeatedly criticized for their skin tone. With this wonderful message in mind, the show deals with Sundari's journey of overpowering taboos related to gender roles and false beauty standards, to becoming an IAS Officer.
