Telugu Awards Apsara Awards 2017

Apsara is a term used in mythology to describe beautiful women from heaven. Apart from their ethereal beauty, they also helped several Gods by carrying out the tasks assigned to them efficiently. Thus, it is evident from the name that Zee Apsara Awards is an awards function, held by the Zee Telugu channel to commemorate and celebrate women's beauty and achievement. The show not just honors women from the glamor industry of Tollywood but also honors women who have excelled in the field other than acting like sports, media, and defense; to name a few.

The location of the shoot was Hyderabad, but viewers were able to enjoy the function at their home through TV on April 23, 2017, at four in the evening.
