Jessi is a modern and fashionable maid who works for Natraj, who lives alone as his parents are in the US. Jessy has a young police officer, Rocky, for a boyfriend. Natraj’s mother tells him that their family astrologer has found a girl for him to marry, but Natraj tells her that he isn’t ready. His mother and Jessi convince him to meet her. Lakshmi (who is called Laks), the girl Natraj is supposed to meet, texts him, and the conversation goes well.

He is now looking forward to meeting her. They decide to meet in a coffee shop, but Natraj is shocked to see her uncle accompany her. Laks’s family visits Natraj and finds out that they both like each other. Once his wedding is fixed, his parents flew in. Jessi takes up the task of being the wedding planner. After the wedding, it takes a few days for Laks to settle in the new house. When Natraj, Jessi, and his other friends talk about social media, memes, gaming, and other modern stuff, Laks feels left out and feels sad for being old fashioned. She also doesn’t like Jessi very much. When Natraj has to leave for a gamer’s conference in Mumbai, he orders Jessi to take care of Laks. This gives them time to bond, and Laks slowly develops a liking for Jessi. Rocky visits Jessi in Natraj’s house and argue. Then Rocky finds out that two terrorists have disguised themselves in the region, and he has to find them. A woman goes to Natraj’s house with a child claiming that Natraj is the father. Laks kicks Natraj out of the house for cheating on her. Natraj has a dream about the terrorists that shakes him up, and decides to help Rocky find the terrorists.
