Tamil Tv Show Sugamana Raagangal

Sugamana Raagangal was a Musical TV show by one of the most watched channel Raj TV. The musical show was a beautiful collection of loved and evergreen songs from the popular Tamil films. The Raj TV network telecast the show on the Tamil channel of Raj TV under the name Raj Musix. Raj Musix is the Tamil music channel. Sugamana-Raagangal was a hit show, due to which its second part also came on TV. Each episode had the old and evergreen songs of eminent personalities and movies of Tamil language.

The songs played in each episode in the show Sugamana Raagangal were Thoothuvalai Ilai Arachi song from Thaai Manasu in which the Tamil actors Prithviraj (Babloo), Meera acted.Mano and S. Janaki sung the Thoothuvalai Ilai Arachi song and Deva gave the music. The other song was Entha Pennilum Illatha from the movie Captal Magal, SP Bala sung the song and, Hamsalekha directed it. People loved the actress, Kushboo in Entha Pennilum Illatha. Chinna Maapillai’s Kathoram Lolakku Kathai in which Prabhiu and Sukanya performed also got telecasted.

The audience loved Prabhu’s dance and his chemistry with his actress. The other episode had the song Kattu Kuyil Paattu from the movie Chinna Mapillai. Mano and Swarnalatha sung the melodious love song. People loved the dancing of actor Prabhu. Other song was Kannukkul Nooru Nilava and people till today love this masterpiece composed by none other than Devendhiran. Also, Amala caught everyone’s eyes in the song. One of a kind was Muthungaye from the Tamil film Samundi. S.P Balasubrahmanyam and S Janaki sang this, this song truly justifies with the statement that Old is Gold.

One other masterpiece played in the show was vaanam idi idikka maththalankal. Monisha and Karthik were the perfect combination for a song which has outburst of feelings. Ilaiyaraaja composed this film. The other song was Neethane naal thorum, Ilaiyaraaja composed this as well. Another favorite song was Sevanthi Poo, Banupriya acted in the song. One more song with the outburst of the feelings was Semmeene Semmeene from the film Sevvanthi, Ilaiyaraaja composed this masterpiece also. Other songs were Nandri Solla Unakku, Rassa Rassa, Poo Pookum Massam, Priyasaagi, Kaaththu Ootha Kaaththu etc. Muthamize Muthamize, Villaku Vaippom, Malai Karukkaiyile, Mannavane Mannavane, Unne Parthe Neerathale and many more. Most of the songs were from 90’s collection. Many of them were from Ilayaraja’s collections as well. People loved watching and listening to these evergreen songs.
