Pattikada Pattanama is a Tamil serial broadcast on the Sun TV channel.PattikadaPattanama is a game show just for women. The contestants are given various tasks to perform. There are two hosts of this show. The contestants are divided into two teams. One task consists of balancing on a pole and bursting balloons via a helmet on the head. The contestant who loses their balance would fall into a pond of mud. The pole is made slippery by a continuous supply of water from a pipe. The contestant who manages to remain on the pole and burst the balloons in lesser time would win. All the contestants from both teams have to perform the task.
The team with the maximum number of winners would win the rounds at the end. Different rounds have separate game-sets prepared for them. The hosts explain the rules of the game beforehand to the girls. In another episode, the contestants have a carry a heavy log of wood by a rope. The contestant has to carry that log through four obstacles fields starting from a pond full of water, then a pond full of mud, thirdly a pond full of water and balls, and the last a ditch of mud and water. After clearing these four rounds the contestant has to take the log of wood to the end point. The time taken by the contestant to clear these fields would give them first and last positions.
