Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi 3 Tamil TV SHOWS on VIJAY TV

Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi 3 is the third season of the very famous Tamil television show of the same name. The first season was launched in the year 2012, on 27 February, and it went on until 12 July 2012. Suriya took the role of the host in the first season. The second season began on 11 March 2013 with Prakash Raj as the host and went on until 12 July of the same year. The third season got launched on 30 May and the host, this time, was Aravind Swamy. This season had certain alteration done to its format, but even then the show was a huge hit on Tamil television.

The show came back on the air with the same television channel it had been telecasting its earlier seasons, Star Vijay. The two things were tweaked in this season’s format. One was that unlike the previous seasons, this season will take on two contestants per game. And the other was that a new lifeline was introduced, which was called double dip. Apart from that, the rest of the show remained the same. The show began with the Fastest Finger First round, through which top two people were taken in to play the main game. Both of these contestants were then made familiar to the rules of the game and the format. After that, a total number of fifteen questions were to the pair. All of these fifteen questions were divided into three segments, on the basis of how easy it is to answer the questions.

The first set of five questions had a time bound of 30 seconds, the second 5 had a time bound of 45 seconds, and the last five had no time bound, exactly like the previous seasons. Each pair was allotted three different lifelines to seek help from in case they are unable to answer. They could only use each lifeline once, and not any more. The new lifeline that was introduced in this season, which is the double dip, gave the contestant the ability to give two answers to the same question, and thus a higher chance of correctly answering the question. This lifeline was introduced by doing away with the former lifeline called fifty-fifty, which used to delete two incorrect answers from the multiple choice, leaving the contestant only two options to choose from.

The winner who won the highest amount was Kavin and Ma Ka Pa Anand. They won a total amount of rupees twelve lakh fifty thousand.
