Mrs. Chinnathirai is a Tamil reality show broadcast on the VIJAY TV channel. In this show, people’s favorite serial stars are invited to showcase their talents. In the first episode, all the contestants are introduced. A small video explaining the life of these contestants ie, their profession, family members, friends, and love life are shown to the audience. In this video, snippets of the family members of these contestants are added, in which they give the audience a glimpse of the personal life of these contestants. The second episode starts the game between contestants. The first round is the ‘Cook N Win’ round. The contestants are divided into two teams, blue and red team. The team would then divide the tasks amongst them according to their strengths. First the starter, then the main course followed by a sweet dish. There is a time limit for every task. In the end, the dishes are to be presented to the special guests. These guests then choose the winner. In the third episode, a round named ‘Kala Master on the Show’ is played. This round is about showcasing your talent as a performer and an entertainer. Some of the contestants dance while some sing and they are marked accordingly by the judges.

After all these performances, the best performer is selected from the contestants who were given the top marks. The fourth episode is named ‘Shopping Spree’. In this round, both the teams are given tasks to bring things. Some of the things were clothes, grocery items, etc. The clothes have to be bought without any specified size and the grocery items for preparing the dish, all within a time limit. The team’s whose clothes fit the little guests are given the points while the team, who are able to bring the right grocery items, within the prescribed budget are given points.

In the fifth episode, the contestants have to play the proposal round in which all the women have to propose the love of their life in the best way possible. They also have to play some questions- answers round with their partners. The one with the best proposal wins this round. This round tests the compatibility of couples and their chemistry. In the sixth episode, the contestants have to give a makeover to some girls and the best look would win. They also have to choose a dress which suits them. In the seventh episode, the contestants have to visit a village to play traditional games like planting a seedling in the rice fields and collecting vegetables and fruits from trees, etc. In episode number eight the contestants continue the previous task and participate in some more traditional games. They make pots from raw material and sell the vegetables they collected during the previous task. The ninth episode is a quiz round in which the husbands have to touch the exact accessories their wives touched. This tests the husband’s knowledge of his wife’s taste in jewelry and clothes.

The husbands and wives also have to answer some questions regarding what their partner likes the most. In the tenth episode, the families of the contestants are invited. The members have to play a quiz round in which questions regarding the contestant’s likes and dislikes are asked. If they answer correctly points are given. The eleventh and twelfth rounds are dance rounds in which the contestants perform sometimes for retro songs while sometimes for a new song. The thirteenth and fourteenth episodes are shot in Goa. The contestants perform activities like parasailing, paragliding, and flyboarding. In the fifteenth episode, the contestants go to Thailand and Bangkok where they perform various outdoor activities. They perform many daring tasks during their stay in these places. Then in the last episode, the winner is announced.
