Kotti Theerthu Vidu Thozhi is a Tamil call-in talk show, which is exclusive for women. It airs on Makkal TV, a renowned Tamil TV channel. For a long time in India, women were taken for granted. Neither their desires nor their mental health was given even a little bit of consideration. Women were always told to keep their feelings and problems to themselves. Kotti Theerthu Vidu Thozhi came up with an innovative idea of urging women to talk about their problems and seek required guidance. The show offers women a platform where they can call and ask solutions to their problems with any issue whatsoever. These questions are answered by some of Tamil Nadu’s renowned female psychiatrists on the show. The doctors also offer guidance to women to help the people around them.
