Tamil Tv Show Koffee With Dd Season 1

Koffee with DD is based on the Hindi show Koffee with Karan. This show was Coffee with Suchi when Suchitra was the anchor and then Koffee with Anu when Anu Hassan anchored. This is a celebrity talk show wherein celebrities have a heart to heart discussion with the anchors. It is a very pleasant show made livelier by the anchors.

The show has a particular flow to it. A brief intro is given by DD regarding the guest. Initially, the celebrities are asked to share about their recent/upcoming projects. Celebrities majorly are invited from the film fraternity and so they share with us about their movies to be released or the success of the movie recently released. Then, the organisers select three photographs from the star’s life and the celebrity has to share with the anchor something interesting or funny about those pictures. Once this is done comes the rapid fire round. The questions framed are very tricky questions and if the celebrity doesn’t tell a convincing answer then penalty will ensue. The questions are generally framed in such a way – say the guest must name any actor he/she will not want to work with – that warrants penalty. As a part of the rapid fire, the anchor gives couple of flowers of three different colours – yellow, red and white. The guest should choose another celebrity in the industry to whom she’d like to gift the flowers –yellow for friendship, red for love and white for marriage proposal. After this is the penalty. Mostly the celebrity is asked to dance/ sing /play an instrument or do any such thing that the anchor chooses.

Then, comes the ‘Have you ever?’ round. In this round, an apparatus is placed in front of the celebrity. It has a horn as well as a metal plat with a thong. For every, the guest can honk or hit the gong – yes for gong and no for horn.
