Kadupethuranga My Lord is a Tamil prank show which is broadcast on Captain Tv channel. In this show, the host phones up anonymous people and plays funny pranks on them. Sometimes these pranks are also played live, in which the person who is the victim is being recorded. And in the end, the truth is revealed that they are being filmed. Some of the people are angry, some relieved, and some had frightened. People are normally going about their day, following their everyday schedule when they become victims of this show. It is really hilarious when people listen to the crazy things and demands of the person fooling them from the show.Â
The host of the show picks random people and teases them. In one of the episodes, the host tries to sell some useless articles to the unsuspecting people, who are refusing but still the host does not waver and keeps on trying. This irritates most of them. In another episode, they try to fool a woman by asking her to use her phone and end up stealing her phone number. She becomes frustrated at the end of the prank. But the viewers seeing it know the joke and feel thoroughly entertained. Once they fool a shopkeeper who actually believes that he is in some kind of trouble. At the end of the prank, it is revealed to the people being fooled that they are being filmed and are a part of the show ‘Kadupethuranga My Lord’. They also have to look into the camera and jokingly say the name of this show which means that they were fooled and have now understood what was actually happening.Â
