Anjali is a young girl who is very much attached to her parents. They run a food truck. Anjali and her mother help their father in the business. Their high-quality business had attracted a huge number of customers. As a girl of the marriage age, Anjali expects her mom-in-law to care for her as her mother. Raja is a smart guy from a wealthy background. His strict mother, Aishwarya, brings him up. Raja falls in love with Anjali. Being a straightforward lady, Anjali locks horns with Aishwarya in a situation. She challenges Aishwarya that she will marry Raja and become her daughter-in-law. Aishwarya wants everyone to obey her, and she has a strong belief that a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law could never have a mother-and-daughter relationship. Will these opposite poles have a smooth relationship?

Kesavan, Aishwarya's elder brother, replaced Anjali with Raja when they were born. As per the Jameen rule, the family with a son as an heir will inherit the property. To retain the property, Kesavan planned devilish and exchanged the children without their parents' knowledge. Although Kesavan knows that Anjali is his sister's daughter, he wants to separate her from Raja and plans with Aishwarya, who doesn't know she digs a hole to dump her daughter. In a twist, Vanamadevi, one of the heirs of the Jameen, doubts Aishwarya for cheating that Raja is her son. She tries in various ways to bring out the truth. After knowing that Aishwarya didn't have good terms with Anjali, she tries to pluck words out of Anjali. But, clever Anjali escapes the situation stating that it is their family issue and will sort it out. Vanamadevi feels that both the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law have the same character as the mother and daughter. Meanwhile, Aishwarya plans to send Anjali out by making everyone believe that Anjali had gone insane. Will Anjali escape from the evil plans of Aishwarya and Kesavan?
