Saththiyama Solren is the dubbed version of the Hindi daily soap Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. The show used to be originally broadcasted on Star Plus. The soap opera ran for one year, from 2011 till November 2012. Apart from being dubbed in Tamil, the soap opera has been remade into several international languages like French, Spanish, and Turkish.

Each episode of this series has a runtime of twenty minutes. It a love story which is told in a different manner. It depicts a relationship between two people who are not likely to be living in the same manner as each other. It is a beautiful depiction of the love and hate relationship which can exist between two people who are not alike in any manner.

Khushi is a fun loving girl who has been brought up in a house which is dominated by males. She is naive, and she likes to explore new things. Her household is deeply religious, and she has been brought up with these traditional values. She later means Arnav, who is a selfish businessman. He only cares about his family and nothing else. He has a beautiful relationship with his sister. He can sometimes come off as a hard man which is due to certain events which took place in his past.

The story begins in Lucknow. There is a fashion show happening in the city, and Khushi accidently falls into Arnav’s arms. Arnav feels humiliated, and he thinks she did this on purpose. He then shares this video with the media and tries to humiliate Khushi. Due to this, she decides to shift to Delhi, where her aunt lives. Arnav also lives in the same city. Khushi has been given the job to train Lavanya to be a typical Indian housewife.

Lavanya is Arnav’s girlfriend, and due to this, they keep bumping into each other. As the serial progress, these two start meeting often, and a feeling of intimacy starts growing between them. They eventually marry each other.
