Sun Tv has presented a program Pournami, the dubbed version of popular Telugu serial, Pournami. It telecasted its first episode on 12th November 2018 and aired for 118 episodes.
The story began with a girl Varsha whose mother died at her young age and is left alone with her Father, Chakravarthy. Her father detests her daughter and blames her for his wife's death. She craves for his love and affection while she is growing up, but unfortunately, she doesn't get attention for her father. One day he suddenly throws her out of the house, which causes her to break down. The serial takes to journey of how she tries to get her father's love.
