Mamiyar Thevai is a fantastic Tamil Serial aired on Zee Tamil. It was aired from Monday to Friday at eight p.m. It is about a story of a father with three sons, three daughter-in-laws and their children living in a joint family that are so big. The father lost his beloved wife before three years. When the father wanted to retire, one of his sons wanted to divide the entire property and so did their children wanted. On hearing this, the daughter-in-law who is the youngest suggests an idea to resolve this issue. She is an orphan, but the father is accepting the solution that she had given.

The serial revolves around the problems faced by the entire family. However, this serial was ended without any notice on February 21st, 2014. Meera is the name of the character acting as the youngest daughter-in-law. The idea she suggests is to find a mother-in-law named Gayathri and bring her as a wife to the father.

Meera successfully finds Gayathri as her mother-in-law and believes she is the one who can handle all problems with the family and put an end to the problem. Meera is often disturbed of her past life in the orphanage, and it haunts her badly.
