Starring four sisters named Alka, Anushka, Devyani, and Pia, this serial shows their journey after they change their location from Kanpur to Delhi. Alka is in love with her neighbor, Rajeev in Delhi, but has to leave him as their father Narayan Shastri gets transferred. When they reach Delhi they do not get a proper house. So they stay at their father’s friend’s house. This friend is named Surinder Sareen. He lives with his wife and two sons. His wife, Minty is a pure evil, elder son named Neel is unemployed, and his younger son named Rajat is an IAF officer.

Alka soon falls in love with the honest and kind Rohan and marries him, rejecting Rajeev. Now Anushka and Devyani both start loving Rajat, creating a kind of cold war situation between them. But after Rajat makes it clear that he likes Anushka’s simplicity and loves her, Devyani openly hates her sister. The love triangle soon ends when Anushka and Rajat got married. Now Devyani is burning in her own hatred when Rajat’s brother proposed to her. She rejects him as she is in love with Rajat. The next twist in the story occurs when the ex-girlfriend of Rajat enters. She creates misunderstandings between them and make them fight a lot. The evil mother Minty forces her son Neel to marry Kajal for some personal reasons. Kajal is also an evil person as she just wants the property of Neel’s family. So she decides to eliminate Anushka by pushing her down a cliff. After a year, it is shown that Anushka has escaped the deadly attack as she was saved by doctor. Anushka now just wants to take revenge against Kajal.

When she returns to her house she is shocked to see that her husband is now married to Devyani. She is heartbroken. But the real story is a terrorist gets Rajat’s face after a plastic surgery, so that he can hide and plan his attacks. Soon Anushka realizes that there is something wrong with Rajat. This makes her investigate and she finally locates real Rajat who was kidnapped by this terrorist and hidden. She brings the real Rajat back and handed over the terrorist to the police. In the end Rajat and Anushka remarry and live happily ever after.
