Mahadev is an Odia Television Serial Aired in Star Kirano. Mahadev is a mythological show based on the Hindu god, Lord Shiva, also known as Mahadev. ‘Mahadev’, meaning the greatest God. Mahadev is considered the father of the whole Universe. Mahadev is the Odia remake of the Hindi Serial Devon Ke Dev Mahadev aired on the Life Ok channel. The show narrates the mysteries, miracles, and incarnations in Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati’s life. The journey of Mahadev, which includes his duty, sacrifice, and bravery to revenge through the ideals of honesty, integrity, and family values, has been portrayed in the show. It also demonstrates the challenges and Struggles Devi Sati and Devi Parvati faced in trying to win Lord Shiva's love and obtain his consent to wed them. Devi Sati also had to deal with her father, Prajapati Daksh’s objections.

Sati sacrifices her life due to her Father’s humiliation towards Mahadev and is reborn as Devi Parvati to the god of the Himalayas, namely Himavan and his wife apsara Mena.
