Malayalam Tv Show Nam Munnottu

Nam Munnottu is a Malayalam language TV show that aired on the channel Asianet news. The show premiered on television on 21 January 2018 for half an hour. It was produced by the statePublic Relations Department of Kerala. It is an interactive show between Kerala’s then Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and some prominent members of the society and the general public. A democracy can run only if there is an understanding between its leaders and its constituent members. One person alone cannot decide what is best for the country, as it used to happen in a monarchy. That is why our country, along with many others in the world, have adopted a democratic and republic system of governance. The head of state in India is the Chief Minister. It is he/she who decides what is best for the state and where the resources and money should be diverted.

They can run a state successfully and efficiently only if they have the support of the public. They need that support both before and after elections. Before elections, the leaders need the votes of the public, and after elections, they need acceptance. To accept someone as one’s leader, the leader needs to be able to make one’s life easier by solving their problems. It is also important that the ruling party needs to be kept in check. This is done by the opposition party in the assembly. However, the opposition party does not know what every single person in the state wants and are not educated in every field to give the right advice. To help the Chief Minister and the local government do their job, the Public Relations Department of Kerala has come up with this show. Nam Munnottu is an interactive show in which the Chief Minister of Kerala has sat down with people of Knowledge to discuss the betterment of their state.

Officials belonging to the agricultural department of the state and some colleges and analysts participated as the special jury. Common people from different age groups, including adults and students, who have an educated opinion on the matters of the state are invited as an audience. An anchor introduced the special jury to the Chief Minister and proceeded to ask questions to the audience regarding important issues in the state, mostly agriculture. As the audience stated their answers, the Chief Minister countered with his own. The experts provided their input whenever needed as the discussion kept going on. Together, they all came up with some new ideas that are easy to implement and improve the lives of the lower class. In between the discussion, presentations of important topics that need to be addressed as soon as possible were given so that necessary attention would be directed to them.
