‘Mylanchi Little Champions’ is another one of the several reality music shows. It is a Malayalam show which is broadcasted on ‘Asianet’. The serial features a number of kids who compete to be the best musical prodigy of the state! The kids who participate in the show are between the age group of twelve and sixteen years. Each episode has a specific theme to it. Kids are supposed to practice and train to perform on the given theme.

Initially there are fourteen contestants; each week based on their performances, they are given specific points. The person with the least number of points is eliminated. The ending of the episode is always difficult for everybody, it is hard for a child to lose and leave the stage. Most of the times, the judges have to come on stage and console the kid. Even their parents are called on stage for one last time. This elimination process goes on for more than two months. There are also wild card entries which extend the duration of the show by a few more weeks.

The final takes place on a grand stage with all the eliminated contestants coming back and performing for their friends. The judges also join the action by singing duets, and a few of their popular songs. As of 2016, four seasons of ‘Mylanchi Little Champions’ have been aired, which contain eight-four episodes.
