Kingini is a Malayalam animated show that telecasts on Athmeeya Yathra, a Malayalam Christian devotional channel. It airs from Monday to Friday at 5 pm, and reruns on Tuesday at 4 am and on Sunday at 3 am. The show premiers on the same channel in five different timezones; India, Great Britain, US Central, Gulf, and Australia Eastern.Â
Kingini program features an animated character of a small girl named Kingini. It is an educational program for small kids under the age of eight. Each episode features one subject. The subjects featured are the alphabet, numbers, colours, animals, birds, plants, kids'Â songs, short stories, and stories from the bible. The purpose of the show is to instill educational knowledge, ethics, values and religiousness in young minds.
