In the entire show, these groups have been presenting various dance forms and other events to highlight the culture and customs of their respective district. Moreover, there is no age limit for the participants here.

This show is very different and has a new concept although it was open to a smaller audience. Indian Musical League runs on the channel Flowers TV. Another very attractive feature of this show is the prize. There was a cash prize for the winner at the end of the season. This amount will be specifically used to develop that particular region by building homes for the poor. The idea of using the money for development is, even more, an attractive feature of the show. This show is not just a competition but more of a social initiative. The six teams represented the areas of Trivandrum, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Thrissur, and Malappuram. Each episode had multiple genres of songs presented. The show though named to be musical; it’s not just about music.

Indian Music League is a way of promoting the cultures hidden in the innermost parts of the country. It is an impressive way of bringing these things to light. However, it also starred some music legends in the show. The host of the show was Renjini Haridas. Singer K. S. Chithra and music directors Sharreth and Vidyasagar were permanent judges. The winner of the first season is responsible for the ‘Flowers Village’ which will be set up for the poor and homeless in that area. This show had a relatively new concept, and this is why it was highly appreciated by the audience though it was not so popular amongst others.
