Veettamma means ‘Housewife’ in Malayalam. The title of the show itself speaks about the discussion it carries. It earns the trust of those women who limits themselves to the boundaries of their houses by commuting their thoughts to them. It includes the information about the rights of women; the role of a woman in society; equality on gender roles, talent, desire, work, etc. and empowering women by their efficient qualification, skills, strength and attitude.

The serial boosts women with the ideal image of the self as free, powerful, goal-oriented and bold.
