Suryakanthi is a Malayalam drama TV show that premiered on 17 August 2020, and it merged with Aksharathettu on 26 October 2020. There is only one season, and each episode is 30 minutes long. The show streamed every weekday at 8:30 pm. The story starts with Dr. Suryanarayana Moosa, an ayurvedic doctor. His grandson, Surya, had disappeared without a trace a long time back. Surya's foster daughter, Vaiga, waits for his return even after a long time of waiting. In the end, Her family decides to get Vaiga married to a young man. But, during the wedding preparations, Vaiga's biological parents make an unexpected entry into her house and her life and disturb the mood of the people there.
