Malayalam Tv Serial Snehajalakam

Snehajalakam is a new Malayalam TV soap opera televised by Surya TV. The first episode which was broadcasted on the 17th of November 2014 (which was a Monday) at 7 O’clock in the evening. Snehajalakam, the Malayalam soap opera will be aired on all weekdays, from Monday to Friday at 7 PM on Surya TV. The Story of Snehajalakam revolves around two families, then issues they face in raising their children among other challenges. The serial focuses on the lives, morals and daily rituals (routine) of both the families.

There is a similar theme in Parvarish, a Hindi soap opera that was broadcasted by Sony Entertainment and during the years 2011 to ¬2013. Snehajalakam, we find relates the story of the families of 2 people Aparna and Abhirami, who are sisters, daughters of Madhava Menon. They also have a younger brother by the name of Arjun. The elder sister Aparna, who is married to Hari, has two kids Sidharth (who is in the tenth standard) and Sanjana (who is in the eighth standard).

Aparna is a very strict and protective mother, who is always hovering over her children, and ensuring that they do their studies and other duties properly. She is a highly strung woman who often complains about her lot in life and scolds her children over the tiniest of infractions, almost every day. Her younger sister, Abhirami on the other hand, is married to Shyam and has three kids Meenakshi (who is into the 10th standard), Devika(who is in eighth standard) and Nandu (who is in playschool).

Abhirami is a friendly and light-hearted woman, whose attitude toward her children and husband, is loving. She has a very large fault, though, she is overreacting in nature and often smothers her children thereby creating problems. As the serial progress, we come to know the two families intimately as they overcome their differences and learn to work together harmoniously. They get to know that even though there are ups and downs in life, we can always depend on our family to help us through our problems.
