The serial was produced by Ann Maria Presentations Pvt Ltd and Harison was the director. In one of the episodes which titled ‘A dhoti meets the destiny’, Tom Jacob played the role of Chackochan. He wears a dhoti (means ‘mundu’ in Kerala) and goes for the outing. Seemaji plays the role of Penn Amaya.
As Chackochan walks around the street with his lady love Amaya, an auto passes by his side and his dhoti get pulled up by the auto and he remains in the street without his mundu. However he escapes to a halting place and the wife goes to a shop to get a mundu from a shop which costs Rs 2,500. Meanwhile, a beggar on the street prays to God and asks for a Mundu. The mundu then comes and falls on his hand as it flew away while the auto was passing by the beggar.
Amaya who was in a hurry to get a mundu for her husband brings only a kid’s wear by mistake and when the husband tries to wear the same, the beggar who got the mundu comes to Tom and begs for money. Tom just watches the beggar wearing the Mundu that flew away in the street, Tom gets shocked and rest of the story continues. The serial was produced by Ann Maria Presentations Pvt Ltd.
