It showcases the life story of two youngsters Thulasi and Aditya, who are cousins but eventually falls in love with one another. It was shown that brother Krishna Prasad and sister Krishna Priya shares a cordial bond. Krishna Priya is ready to sacrifice anything for her brother happiness.

Krishna Prasad wife Durga and Priya share a lovely bond like sisters. Both get pregnant at the same time. Durga was instigated by Mangalam, paternal aunt of Priya and Prasad, during the baby shower ceremony. Mangalam insults Durga, and she vows to give birth to a baby boy, otherwise; she will die. Sulochana or Sulu, a relative of Durga, tries to widen the gap between Durga and Priya by filling Durga mind with hatred towards Priya. At the time of birth, Durga gives birth to a baby girl name Thulasi and Priya gives birth to a son named Adithya. But they are exchanged to save Durga’s life. Priya sacrifices his son for Durga and his brother. The relationship between Durga and Priya worsens with time.

Durga grows fed up with the bond of brother and sister, i.e., Thulasi and Adithya. With Sulu and Mangalam instigating her, she demands partition. Both Durga and Priya live in separate houses. Adithya and Thulasi had a very conflicting relationship. The two often insults one another. Eventually, they fall in love with one another. Durga comes to know about it, but she takes a promise from Adithya that he will not make Thulasi her daughter-in-law. The story follows how Durga creates hurdles between the two and how Thulasi overcomes them and is accepted by her mother-in-law, Durga. Will Durga ever come to know the reality about her daughter Thulasi forms the storyline.
