Alauddin serial is a dubbed version of Aladdin Hindi serial, and it was aired on Surya TV in Malayalam at 6 pm. This serial contains three seasons and a total of 422 episodes. It is a rom-com fantasy serial filled with adventures. The story revolves around Alladin; he lives in Baghdad with his parents. He is a tender-hearted thief, and his only dream in life is to meet the Princess of Baghdad. The Princess of Baghdad is Yasmine; she is a very bold and courageous girl and often roams in the city in disguise to make sure that her people are safe. They both happen to meet at the market place where she introduces herself as Sarah by covering up her true identity, and in prior things never go well between them as they always quarrel over something but later; they become close friends and eventually Alladin falls in love with her without knowing her true identity. He was also assigned to do a task for Zafar; he is an evil-doer person in the city. He asks Alladin to search his lamp with an exchange of gold coins.

While Alladin is on his mission to discover the lamp and ends up trapped in a cave, and he finds the lamp. He rubs his hands around the lamp, and suddenly a Genie appeared in front of him and became his master. He also names him as Ginu and feels contented as Ginu has magical powers and would offer anything requested by his master. Meanwhile, Zafar needs the lamp because he created it by tricking a witch and turned it into a Genie in the past. When Zafar asks for the lamp, Alladin refuses to return it. He finally fetches the lamp from him. He requests the Genie to make him more powerful, so he could kill the king Sultan and conquer his territory. Zafar kills the king and frames Alladin.

Princess Yasmine is devastated and becomes furious to know that Alladin murdered her father. She reveals her identity to Alladin and commands that he should be buried alive. The season two depicts that Alladin managed to escape and survived. He disguises himself as Ali and tries to find the lamp so that he can prove all the evil doings of Zafar and rescue Yasmine, as Zafar turned her into a parrot and caged her. He succeeds in his mission and also won the heart of Yasmine. The remaining story is permeated with numerous twists, the arrival of the witch in disguise, and how Alladin tackles over the situation and leads a contented life with Yasmine.
