Something in the Rain is a Korean TV series created by JTBC. Kim Eun wrote the script, and Ahn Pan-Seok directed it. Drama House and Content K produced the series. Apart from JTBC, the series streamed on Netflix too. The series was telecasted from 30th March 2018 to 19th May 2018.

The series also opens about different Taboos in the relationship in South Korea. Some of them are Dating Taboos, Familial Taboos, Job Taboos, Career Taboos, Drinking Taboos, and Food Taboos.

Jin Ah, a woman in her 30s, works in a coffee house, the franchise of Coffee Bay. She is a supervisor. Joon Hee is a youngster who works for Smilegate Entertainment as an animator. Jin Ah and Joon Hee’s elder sister, Seo Kyung-Seon, were best friends from childhood. Although there are age differences between them, they started loving each other. Were they able to open up their relationship? Will it affect the friendship between Jin Ah and Seo Kyung-Seon? The rest of the story follows this. Besides this, the story also speaks about the issues faced by the women at work and how senior men harass them.

Son Ye-jin plays the role of Yoon Jin-ah, a 30+ single woman. Jang So-Yeon plays the role of Seo Kyung-Seon, Jin Ah’s best friend. Jung Hae-in plays the role of Seo Joon-hee, the younger brother of Seo Kyung-Seon and the love interest of Jin Ah. Jung Yoo-jin, Joo Min-kyung, Lee Joo-young, Jang Won-hyung, Lee Hwa-ryong, Seo Jeong-yeon, Lee Chang-hoon, Park Hyuk-kwon, Kim Jong-tae, Wi Ha-joon, Gil Hae-yeon, Oh Man-suk, Oh Ryong, and Yoon Jong-suk are in the supporting cast.  Z Hera and Cho Soo-Hyang appeared in guest roles.
