Hospital Playlist Season 2 is a South Korean TV drama penned by Lee Woo Jung. Shin Won-Ho directed the series for TVN. It was telecast from 17^th June 2021. The series is also available on Netflix. Choi Sung Yoon produced the series. This season has created a huge record for the highest viewership for the 1st episode in TVN.

Five doctors, who are in their 40s are best friends, right from their medical school days. Lee Ik-jun works as an assistant professor, teaching general surgery, specializing in liver transplantation. He divorced his wife and caring his son, as a single parent. He is always cheerful and hence is a favorite person for his colleagues and patients. Ahn Jeong-won is an assistant professor in the pediatric department and he is also a caring person to his patients. After seeing his patients suffer, the softhearted person wants to become a priest. Kim Jun-wan works as an associate professor in the cardiothoracic department. He is very professional but cool. Yang Seok-Hyeong is an assistant professor working in the obstetrics and gynecology department. He is not much attached to the patients. Yang cares for his mother and he is a divorcee. Chae Song-Hwa is an associate professor working in the neurosurgery department. She is not only a perfect professional but behaves softly with her patients. The story deals with these people’s friendships, careers, and personal life.

Jo Jung-suk, Yoo Yeon-Seok, Jung Kyung-ho, Kim Dae-Myung, and Jeon Mi-do played the main roles. Shin Hyun-bin, Jung Moon-sung, Ahn Eun-jin, Kim Jun-Han, Moon Tae-yoo, Ha Yoon-Kyung, Choi Young-Joon, Seo Jin-won, Kim Hye-in, Choi Young-woo, Shin Do-Hyun, Jeon Kwang-jin, Lee Se-hee, Woo Jung-won, Lee Jong-won, and Lee Jung-won are in the supporting roles. Lee Kyu-hyung, Park Ji-Yeon, Cha Chung-Hwa, Ahn Shi-ha, Ryu Hye-rin, Ko Na-young, Lee Ji-ha, Sung Dong-il, and Yoo Jae-Myung were seen in cameo roles.
