They are an old and retired man. They meet each other in a park early morning and talk. Mr. Bhat is tired of his life. His son and daughter-in-law mistreat him. Ever since he retired, he started remaining sick and weak. His son and daughter-in-law, who were good to him, changed their behavior towards him. They saw him as a burden. Mr. Bhat was disappointed in his children as he brought them up by caring for them, while his children do not respect or love him.

Mr. Mir talks to Mr. Bhat about his son and daughter-in-law, who are very loving and caring towards him. They respect him and fulfill his every wish. Mr. Mir’s son and daughter-in-law never let him do any strenuous activity as he is old. Mir lived a happy life and was proud of them. Mr. Bhat wished to have a life like Mir.  At home, his daughter-in-law scolds him for keeping their servant busy with himself. The servant was giving medicines to Bhat as he was sick. Bhat feels bad. His son comes to him to scold him for sleeping on the sofa and wasting his time.

Bhat feels bad and disrespected. He decides to go to Mir’s home as he has a loving family. He finds comfort in a stranger’s home rather than his own home. When he goes to their home, he peeks inside the gate to see Mir’s daughter-in-law scolding him for not cleaning the table properly. She was disrespecting him while Mir was acting submissive. Bhat realizes that all this time, Mir was going through the same problem as him. But he had a happy outlook on life. He does not let one incident dictate his whole life.
