The show starts with a dance performance by the judges of this show. Akul gives the introduction of all the judges and their areas of expertise. Anuradha is asked a question by Akul ‘What does dance mean to her’. She replies that dance is a part of her. She says that the most important quality of a dancer is his or her passion. Next is the entry of Suman. Anuradha dances classical dances while Suman is a modern dancer. Akul starts calling her ‘Su’ as a way of flirting with her.

The last judge to enter the stage of this show is Ravichandran. He just performs using his guitar. He says that the contestants in the current season are very competitive. After this, the contestants are introduced, starting with the dancing couples. The youngest and the tallest couple start first. The judges would give marks accordingly. The performances start with contestants performing singly and then in pairs. All the judges give their comments and views. Ravichandran is quick to note that this couple missed a step, but they continued as if nothing happened. This impressed him a lot. The next couple performs with full energy. Archana is also a good actress. The next couple performsa robotic dance. They use a bike for their entry. Akul also tries to sit on the bike. The next is a couple consists of a woman named Bhavana. Akul tries to show his six packs which are practically non-existent. Anuradha asks them to play by their strengths. She asks them if they faced any difficulty practicing with one another and learning one another’s dance style. They say that each one of them is every ready to practice. The next performance is a full-on performance by Dikshit and Shruti. Ravichandran is asked for his views first. Anuradha tells them that they are a really cute couple and should just work on their technical moves.
