Kannada writer and philosopher Devanahalli Venkataramanaiah Gundappa was commonly known as DVG. Most notably, he is known for a collection of verses known as Manku Thimmana Kagga. The teachings of DVG include simplicity, balance, attachment, detachment, morals, learning, emotional conditioning, nature, hunger, self-awareness, hard work, duties, cosmos, the universe, and more.
