It is a love story of a boy and a widow girl. He falls in love with her a decides to marry her, going against the orthodox views of the society. The story based in North Karnataka is about two families who have different customs and traditions and how a typical mentality of the society stands as a barrier in the mating of two souls. There is a roller coaster of emotions. It gained an appreciation and won many hearts in Karnataka. They say that is not just a story but portrayal of the existing life and reflection of our ignorant society The story is set and starts with the introduction of the village of Bagalkot Taluka, and is based on real life incidents.

Aishwarya is in as Aarti Hiremath, daughter of Shivanand Hiremath. She is a simple, practical and straightforward girl, working as a teacher, is attached to her family, and loved ones. Jayateertha Jahagirdar is a respected person in the village who’s thoughts are honoured and followed and is well known for his goodness towards others and Shivanand Hiremath for his loyalty towards the Jahagirdar family. Both of them are good friends since childhood. The serial targets women who are bound by the customs and traditions of the society and is an inspiration for them to live their life fully.

It shows that we are tied to each other with a thread of humanity and that relationships are more important than any cast, creed, race or ethnicity. The story unfolds gradually to making each role important and equally contributing. Every character of the serial is different from other and a lead role in itself.
