This show is a family show and aims in making people have a hearty laugh on seeing the look-alike of their favourite celebrities. This show has done a good job in mimicking the stars they have tried to portray.

There have had Veerappan, Dude Dinesh, etc. as their ‘contestants’. Each character portrayed is unique and has his/her unique and humorous habits. For example Dude Dinesh who supposedly represents the youth of India is seen to use his mobile phone even when Ashok Bacchae is talking with him. Before starting the ‘quiz’, a brief introduction entails about each ‘contestant’. Kaun Banega Crorepati gives only four options. Unlike them, we see that Kaun Banega Shoonyadipati gives only three options to choose.

Not only this, but the computer is also shown to speak to Ashok while maintaining its yellow cartoon face. The two cheer girls wearing their yellow dresses seem to be the only audience. Ashok can also be seen to converse with the so-called ‘contestants’ and even if they are gossiping or talking with each other, they share jokes through it. The whole show is quite hilarious, and Ashok Bacchae has done justice to his role. Not only is his hosting funny, but the way he talks in the Big B accent and mimics him is also hilarious.

The ‘contestants’ who come in each episode also do their part quite well. That goes for the cheer girls and the animated computer face too (even though he is only a cartoon, the voice is real). The ending part is funny in which the ‘contestants’ either goes away without taking the money or Ashok is seen giving away the ‘prize money’ grumpily.
