Yede Thumbi Haaduvenu Kannada Tv serials on Etv kannada

Colors Kannada TV, a popular channel in the Kannada TV industry came up with a unique idea and concept of bringing back a show called “Yede Thumbi Haaduvenu” to the TV screens for the general public. After the success of the show in the previous years, the makers brought up its new season in the year 2015. It is a reality show that helps kids under the age of 16 years to showcase their singing talents. The show has been running successfully for years now. It was first aired on ETV in the year 2012, and since then there was no looking back.

The show has been able to gather a decent TRP from the audience every year that it was broadcasted. The show follows a basic format of the competition. But the element that distinguishes it from the other competition-based reality shows is that the children from an age group below 16 years can only participate in it. It is one of the first show in the Kannada TV industry to have kids to contest in the show. To select the participants, the auditions are held in the various regions and cities in the state of Karnataka.

This year too, the makers went to areas such as Mysore, Bengaluru, Hassan and Mangalore seeking the talent and were, indeed, successful in gathering some amazing singers forward. Around 150 to 200 entries were encountered in every city for the auditions. The number, itself, depicts the popularity of the reality series. The show was hosted by S.P Balasubramanyam who is a renowned playback singer and actor in the Kannada Entertainment Industry. Once the auditions are over, the main competition starts among the selected singers.

The show is aired on Colors Kannada during weekends in the evening. The host, S.P Balasubramanyam would sing at the end of each episode to motivate the contestants to sing well and work harder to win the title. The show has brought forward many talented kids over the years. Amulya M, D Pallav, Sunidhi G, Hamsini, Shreyas B Rao are some of the kids who shot to fame after the show. This year, a young girl from Mysore, named Rachitha Rajesh, won the title. She came forward defeating all the seven contestants in the finale episode. She was awarded a prestigious trophy and a cash price of fifty thousand rupees by the makers of the show.
