It aired on Udaya TV at 10 PM every day from Monday to Friday. Each and every episode has a new story and a new concept filled with light-hearted humor, which is bound to cheer everyone up, no matter how much wound up they are after a stressful day. Panch kajjaya is a popular sweet in Karnataka being prepared with 5 different ingredients. Panch literally means five.

The story revolves around five characters of a family who add a special ‘Punch’ to the plot. A funny and ever romantic dad Kalappa Mishrikoti, popularly known as ‘Kami’, a stubborn mom Ramohalli Rajeshwari, called 'RaRra,’ a son named Lakshmivenkatarama Shiva Krishna Prasada (Lakshmi), who is an aspiring scientist, a daughter named Myna, who is a Facebook addict and a daughter-in-law named Meera who owns a beauty parlour, together they create moments of endless hilarity and chaotic fun.

Kami, even though aged 50+, is young at heart. He loves to put on make-up before bed in hopes of catching the attention of some beautiful girl in his sleep. Myna is a Facebook addict and loves to share everything with the world even though if it is a small meagre quarrel with the family. From loud parties to soft snoring, she keeps updated everyone about everything. Lakshmi is a hardcore fan of Dr. Rajkumar and starts to dance every time when a song comes up. Having immense love for both his mother and wife, he is always stuck in the middle when a conflict arises between the two. Their neighbours Lamboo, Uththara Kumara, and tenants Surity, Seenu and Padmavati also play a major role in elevating the humor every time without any inconvenience.
