Sihi Kahi Chandru is a noted artist in Kannada films and television. He is also a producer, director, and a theatre personality noted for his famous comedy play Nee naa naadare Naa nee ne na?, an adaption of Shakespeare’s play The Comedy Of Errors. He was given this name after his TV serial Sihi Kahi aired on Doordarshan during 1986-87. His wife Sihi Kahi Geetha also acted in the serial. They played the role of husband and wife in the serial; the show was very popular among Kannada audiences as Doordarshan was the only means of entertainment in television those days.
