Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu is an emotional drama series which came on the channel Zee Kannada. The show is a Kannada language one which came on every weekday between Monday and Friday in the slot of 8:00 PM. The narrative of the serial shows us the life of a girl called Malli. She is a carefree young girl, barely eighteen years old. Her personality is a very sweet one, and she cares for all the people in her family and her friends. Malli has always led a carefree life but making sure nobody around her gets hurt. She was an ideal daughter in every way. Her life is idyllic in many ways. However, one day everything changes. She got faced with the reality that her parents were selling her off to a wealthy landlord in exchange for a fat sum.
Everything she trusted and believed in got shattered. She can scarcely believe what is occurring in front of her. She tries a lot to resist this but is not able to change anything regarding this and must go ahead with whatever has gotten decided. She becomes a victim of her surroundings. In spite of these developments, she doesn’t lose heart and tries to make the most of her situation. She continues to fight and dream. She keeps her hopes alive and desires to be reborn as a girl in her next life as well. She only hopes to make things right for others so that nobody else need go through what she did. She dreams of a better future for society as a whole. Nothing could deter her straightforward nature and fearless personality.
Even in the face of such hardships, she stays as playful as ever. As the story unfolds, we see her facing different kinds of challenges as she tries to accomplish her dream. It is not very simple in most of the cases and may even feel insurmountable, but she keeps moving ahead. Zee Kannada is a round the clock Kannada language channel which got launched in 2006. It formed a part of the different channels offered by the Zee Network. It showcases a wide array of programs including daily soap operas, movies, game shows, current affairs programs, and talk shows. It got launched in order to cater to the Kannada language speaking population of India. This wasn’t Zee Network’s first venture, however. Earlier they had also entered into a partnership with the Asianet Network to launch Kaveri TV. It got run successfully for a few years following which it stopped operations.
