Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain Season 2 is the second part of this web series broadcast on the Alt Balaji. Ananya has gone to Qatar for her job while Rohit is going berserk about her decision to leave him and their marriage. He is sitting with his ex-wife, Poonam and discussing Ananya and trying to understand why she left him. His daughters have also accepted this relationship and are happy till the time they have their father in their life. Rohit arrives in Qatar to persuade Ananya to come back to Delhi. But she wants Rohit to leave his job and stay with her for three months till her job requires. But Rohit decides to celebrate their honeymoon in Qatar. After spending quality time together, Rohit goes back to Delhi. Ananya has bonded over Rohit’s daughters and his mother. She sends a gift for Nikki and talks on the phone with Rohit’s mother.

As a surprise, Ananya decides to come back to Delhi in a month. But there is no Rohit for her welcome which pisses her off. She is also upset that Rohit discusses each and every problem with his ex-wife, even her not getting pregnant. Nikki loses a huge amount of money in online Poker and is helped by Ananya which angers Poonam, but Rohit is pleased the way she handled things with his daughter. Meanwhile, Poonam meets a young guy, Abhimanyu at the supermarket. They meet for a friendly coffee and then after that at the swimming pool. Both Bani and Ananya are planning a surprise birthday party for Rohit, but in the end, plan a party together. Poonam leaves Rohit’s birthday party after seeing Rohit and Poonam enjoying immensely at the party. Poonam agrees to go on a date with Abhimanyu. Ananya sees them together but Poonam asks her to keep this a secret. Poonam is spending more and more time with Abhimanyu. He tells her that he likes her for no reason at all.

Rohit is curious as to why Poonam has not been answering his calls all week. Arya is angry with Bani and taunts her like her father she will not be able to carry this marriage. Bani wants a break from her marriage. Abhimanyu wants more from Poonam and proposes her. Rohit advises Poonam to not continue her relationship with Abhimanyu. Poonam believes that Bani should not break her marriage as it is not a joke. She blames Rohit for the commitment phobia that Bani is facing. Abhimanyu gives Poonam the choice of going with him away from all of this drama.

Bani and Ananya are good friends now but Ananya is upset that Rohit is still talking with Poonam about his financial crises or advising her regarding her boyfriend. Arya decides to go back to the USA leaving Bani here in India. Poonam decides to not take up the offer of Abhimanyu. Rohit and Poonam end up consoling each other a little too closely. Now Rohit is guilty of hiding this fact from Ananya. Ananya comes to know that Rohit and Poonam cheated on her and leaves him for good.
