Hindi Web Series Hostages Season 1

Hostages is a Hindi web series broadcast on the Hotstar. The story starts with the capture of Dr. Mira Anand and her family. An Inspector named Prithvi Singh is on his last day of duty. He has to save a girl from the suspected terrorist. He deals with this situation smoothly, saving the girl and capturing the man. He was waiting for his negotiation team lead by Ayesha. Meanwhile, Mira Anand is busy with surgery. Shaina, her daughter is back in the city and wants to meet her mother. She is pregnant. But her mother, Mira, is informed that due to a rally five days after, CM Handa has to be operated on the next day. The scene then shows two men dealing with weapons. The man selling the guns gets killed by the man buying it. Mira’s husband, Sanjay, is a principal. Mira’s son Shovan also studies in the same school. Shovan is helping hack papers for his seniors and his father comes to know about this. He is scolding him and his friend Sameer and wants to know about the hacking.

Shaina is in her home alone when a man posing as an internet router checker, comes into her house. He is meddling with the wifi connection when the maid gets a call that her husband met with an accident. She leaves the house at once leaving Shiana alone. When Mira and Sanjay come home in the evening, they find that their dog, Ronaldo is missing. They start discussing their day when the lights go off. When the lights reappear, everything looks normal. But each one of the family members is being followed by men with guns. Very soon Shiana, Shovan, Sanjay, and Mira are captured and bound. They become hostages in their own homes and a man tells him what their tasks are.

He takes Mira into a separate room and blackmails her into killing the CM. Mira’s family is at stake. The man says that if Mira wants to see her family alive, she has to do as the man says. Her family would be killed if the CM comes out of the operation theatre alive tomorrow. The kidnapper’s face is revealed at the end and he is SP Prithvi Singh. On the next day, Mira reaches her hospital but would she be able to perform this murder to save her family? What are SP Prithvi Singh’s intentions for getting the CM killed?
