Hindi Web Series Aarya Season 1

Aarya is a Hindi crime thriller web series that was streamed in Hotstar in the year 2019 and had a total of 9 episodes each of 50 minutes duration. The story revolves around Aarya Sareen, where her peaceful and luxurious life turns out into a nightmare after her husband’s mysterious death. The first episode begins with portraying the contented lives of Aarya and her husband Tej with their three children’s Veer, Arundhathi, and Adithya. Tej runs over a Pharmaceutical company and also does an illegal drug business without the knowledge of his wife. Aarya being the daughter of a drug lord Zorawar despises him because of his drug business, and because of this, her husband decides to cover up his illegal business from Aarya. While dropping his son at school, Tej receives a call from his business partners Sangram and Jawahar, due to some sort of emergency. Tej decides to visit them in the warehouse and was shocked to know that Sangaram and Jawahar stole heroin from the drug- dealing mafia gang out of greed so that they could earn a good profit with the drugs. Still, Tej opposes their idea and convinces them to return the drugs. Unsurprisingly, the rival members attack them at their warehouse, and to defend themselves, Sangaram shoots out two of the rival members. Even though, after the tragic shoot out, Sangaram begins to find a dealer to sell his drugs against Tej’s decision, and Sangaram is caught red-handed by ACP Khan.

In the meantime, Tej is also shot by a mysterious person while he was on the driveway with his son Adithya. Aarya becomes depressed as her husband passed away and makes an oath to find the shooter and bring him to justice. Aarya unraveled the reason for her husband’s death and was shocked to know about his illegal business. She also begins to receive threats from Shekhawat, the drug lord, to pay off her husband’s debt. In this crucial situation, Aarya has no choice left but to join in the underworld drug dealing business to ensure the safety of her children. While ACP Khan poses as a threat to her as he tries to gather information against their family illegal business and showcase it to the court. Aarya strives hard to get her brother in law out of jail and also to succeed in her dark underworld business. In the upcoming episodes, there is more twist and turns in the story as she unravels more about her husband and showcases the struggles she faces as a single mother to pay her husband’s debt and take over his business. She became the underworld mafia queen and became numb when she finally finds out that her father and brother killed her husband. In the upcoming episodes, she decides to find out the reason why they had to kill her husband and decides to seek revenge against them.

As each episode earns the curiosity of the viewers when each knot in the story is untied.
