Royalty is what clean-bowls all of us! The majesty, exquisiteness and sheer beauty of this title bewitch us all! In almost all the corners of the world, several kings; queens; princes, and princesses have inhabited the throne. Their mannerisms, panache, dress sense, etiquette, speech and striding steps are a delight to watch and a splendid learning experience. We all, often, find ourselves wondering how it would be to sit on that throne. How extraordinary an experience! We would, undoubtedly, enjoy a sneak peek in their houses. Or should we call them architectures of grandeur?

Well, like a genie to all our wishes, Royal Reservation sprang up! NDTV Good Times is a celebrated channel. It's creativity and initiative to bring forth unique shows is commendable! And like all the projects that this channel houses, this show is a heart-winning experience as well! It takes us on a magical ride to grand palaces and reveals to us innermost secrets of various members of the Royalty. We all know that Indian culture and royalty are pieces chained together by the past. The soil of our land holds the fragrance of several kings and queens. Blood of many royal members covered this terra firma. A lot of them have created history, and a lot of them have brought changes. Though democracy now exists in India, the royal clans haven't completely disappeared. And it is the story of these coteries that the show brings for its viewers.

The shooting of the show took place in various corners of this country. Chettinad, Mysore Palace, Shillong, Ladakh, Gwalior, Punjab, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaigarh victory Fort, Maheshwar, and Tripura are some of them. It introduced us to the historical hues of Wakhaner Palace; the royal corridors of Gondal; Travancore's woman of substance, and the hills of Shimla. The episodes featuring Ahilya's legacy in Maheshwar; Rajpipla's poor little rich boy; Princess of Rampur, and Merwar plus Marwar kingdoms were exceptionally eye-catching! Beyond this, the show also gives us tips on subjects like 'how to throw a lavish tea party'; 'how to party like the Nizams'; 'how to dress like a King' and 'how to give your living room a royal touch.' How exciting!

Amrita Gandhi plays the host to the show. She is vivacious, sensible and possesses an unquenchable desire to explore the world! This show is unconventional and offers a fresh perspective on things. If you haven't already watched it, you must catch up on it soon!
