‘Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl: Galactic Battles’ (was also called ‘Pokémon: DP Galactic Battles’). It premiered in Japan as ‘Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl.’ It is the twelfth season of the Pokémon series. It showed the journey of Ash Ketchum as he travelled through Sinnoh, accompanied by Dawn, Brock and Pikachu.
There is a threat for the Galactic team in Sinnoh town, and Ash and Dawn fall into the trap of a mysterious group of villains. Both Ash and Dawn face numerous challenges. Dawn deals with the problems of her Pokémon and Ash faces a rivalry with Paul that finally turns into a battle. It is also a double time battle for their training! It was a 52-episode cartoon film.
The animated series had shown Hikari - aiming to be a chief coordinator, and Satoshi - aiming to be a Pokémon Master. It shows a battle in the Sinnoh League, venture in the land of Shin'ou. Hikari is a 10-year-old girl who wants to be a top coordinator just like her mother.
Meanwhile, after conquering the ‘Battle Frontier’ and motivated by his old rival Shigeru, Satoshi sets off to the far away land of Shin'ou. Once there, he meets Hikari and is reunited by his old friend Takeshi.
